Senior Director, CMC Project Leader

David joined Kymab in 2018 to head the CMC Program Management team and since July 2021 has also taken on the role of CMC Site Lead as Kymab becomes a node in the Sanofi Global CMC network. David acts as the CMC Project Leader for the anti-ICOS mAb, Alomfilimab SAR445256 (formerly KY1044) and has over 15 years technical and leadership experience in biologics CMC development. His strengths are in CMC development for early-stage biologics, project management, operations and CMC strategy.

Following a PhD at The University of Edinburgh, David undertook three post-doc roles and then spent 7 years at Hospira (now part of Pfizer) as Global CMC Lead for Biosimilars development and 5 years in Project & Contract Management at Lonza Biologics where he led a variety of IND stage monoclonal antibody and antibody-like customer development projects for small biotech through to mid-size pharma customers.
